Hasselt is a surprisingly small, lovely town with charming squares, shops and terraces, ideal for a nice city trip! It’s known for its Hasselt Ceramics, the Herkenrode Abbey site, Street Art cycling and walking route, and the jenever museum. At the edge of the city, you will find the Japanese gardens, where you can participate in fun workshops and go for a walk. Local delicacies are jenever, Limburg syrup and mustard.
